As a visual artist, I hope to bring to others,  a vision of beauty through

my pictures. Though this purpose was not initially my objective,

it has become a key element of my work.  It is, I think,

an expression of the joy I have found in my true vocation.

 
It is the least important thing and the most important thing. 

It is not food or clothing or even shelter,  but only beauty

can correctly commemorate a wedding, or a coronation,

or celebrate the  love, joy and grandeur

of God in a great Cathedral.  


Beauty gives us joy in an otherwise commonplace existence.

Beauty is food for our souls, and it is why

artists are the professionals of joy.
